360 Family Mediation
MIAMs
Since April 2014 anyone wishing to start court proceedings in respect of children matters or finances must first attend a Mediation and Information Assessment Meeting (MIAM).
360 Family Mediation will assess whether your matter is suitable for mediation and will sign a form confirming whether or not the matter is suitable for mediation.
A MIAM is not required where: the Mediator considers a meeting inappropriate; domestic abuse is involved; one of the parties has been made bankrupt; an urgent application to the court is needed; or where there are child protection issues.
We do not currently provide mediation for those seeking legal aid.
